I'm trying to get an idea of configuring WSUS with VMM 2012 R2. We currently have a WSUS server, but I want to integrate with VMM rather than VMM take over the role. I want to be able to patch our Hyper-v hosts.
I have read that in some cases VMM downloads the patches locally utilizing a lot of disk space on SCVMM? My concern is really being able to add it into the fabric with as little impact as possible, as our WSUS server is separately managed with another team.
Any advice? Thanks in advance. Matt.
