I'm in the process of implementing a High Availability SCVMM, to manage my company VM's.
After some odd errors (I suspect has something to do with the diferente versions used) I would like anyone's help to validate if the following scenario is supported:
Server 1 - SCVMM Server 2012 R2 in Windows Server 2012 Datacenter R2.
Server2 and Server3 - Clustered Hosts (created by SCVMM) with Windows Server 2012 Datacenter.
Server2 and Server3 are physically identical.
Is there any known bug, or issue using this configuration.
I'm getting annoying the following error and after a lot of reading I believe that the problem could be related with the configuration selected for this scenario:
Error (12711)
VMM cannot complete the WMI operation on the server (juliet.olisipo.net) because of an error: [MSCluster_Resource.Name="SCVMM TesteVM01"] The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation.
The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation (0x139F)
Recommended Action
Resolve the issue and then try the operation again.
Any help would be deeply aprecciated.
