Error (2916)
VMM is unable to complete the request. The connection to the agent myserver was lost.
(The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request (0x800703E3))
Recommended Action
Ensure that the WS-Management service and the agent are installed and running and that a firewall is not blocking HTTP traffic. If the error persists, reboot myserver and then try the operation again.
Now, I have found only a couple of suggestions for this problem. They tell me to create some exclusions in the antivirus software and then restart the Hyper-V management service.
I have taken this one step further. I have disabled my McAfee altogether on the agent machine just to eliminate the problem (at least to test).
None of this has helped.
